Outreach
RxPlus contributes to the advancement of independent pharmacy on behalf of our members in many ways. We are always just an email or phone call away if you need to contact us.
Colorado:
In Colorado, maintaining a presence at the Colorado state capitol is a necessary function, but it is not sufficient to keep independent community pharmacies in the public eye as a critical part of the health care industry. RxPlus is active in the Healthcare Task Force of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Colorado Pharmacy Coalition (an advisory group to the Colorado Pharmacy Society). We regularly attend the state Board of Pharmacy meetings and the Colorado Healthcare Reform Commission meetings.
All Member States:
We provide support for pharmacy associations in member states by making contributions and maintaining membership and attending annual meetings in some states. We also use the data network StateNet to gather the latest information about legislative and regulatory activities in nine states. Through faxes and emails we are able to keep members up-to-date on state and federal actions that affect independent community pharmacy. |
